Prayers to the Mahasudarshana:

ध्यायेन्नित्यं महाविष्णुं रक्तस्फटिकसन्निभम् ।

शङ्खचक्रगदापद्मधरं पीताम्बरं हरिम् ॥

"One should meditate constantly on Mahavishnu, who is like a red crystal, holding the conch, discus, mace, and lotus in his four hands, wearing yellow garments."

नमोऽस्तु ते महादेव सुदर्शन दिवाकर |

सर्वास्त्रनायकायै नमः सर्वविघ्ननिवारण ||

सर्वरोगहरायै नमः सर्वदुःखविनाशन |

सर्वकामप्रदातारं सुदर्शन नमोऽस्तु ते ||

सर्वशत्रुविनाशाय नमो नमः सुरार्चित |

सर्वासाध्यप्रकर्त्रे च त्रैलोक्यरत्न दीधिते ||

सर्व पापान् परि:भुञ्ज हरि भक्ति प्रदायकः |

विष्णुदासैश्च परिवेष्टितः महासुदर्शन प्रभो ||

"I bow down to the great Sudarshana, the dazzling sovereign of all the astras, who has nails as strong as a diamond, whose valor is immensely radiant. He quells all wicked forces, destroys all fevers, removes all dangers, cures all diseases, grants all desired boons, subjugates all enemies, is worshipped by all the gods, accomplishes all unachievable tasks, and is the crown jewel of the three worlds, accompanied by the entourage of Mahavishnu, the destroyer of all the sins, oh great Sudarshana."

Praying to the Sudarshana chakra of lord Vishnu provides protection from all forms of negative energies and dangers. It is believed to cure diseases, grant boons, overcome obstacles, and achieve success in endeavors. It is particularly recommended for those seeking relief from ailments and those who need protection from enemies and other threats including the supernatural ones.
