Perspectives of various sects regarding Jivanmukti and Yoga Vibhuti :

Raseshwar sect and other Siddha sects say that there is no death upon attaining real liberation. According to them, Jivanmukti means physical immortality. They say, where is liberation from life without overcoming death? Dehasiddhi can be achieved by 1) Hatha Yoga, 2) with the help of Mantra Shakti after Kundalini awakening, and 3) through other methods like rasayan, aushadhi, rajayoga, tantra etc. But it has two directions. One of these is to purify the physical body and transform it into a siddha deha. This purification process is also quite popular in Goraksha sect by the name of Kaya Sadhana.

According to the second opinion, along with the physical body, the Baindava sharir which arises from the grace of the Guru (shaktipat) is called Siddhadeha. Even though the physical body (sthoola sharir) is affected by time, the Baindava sharir conquers time. After attaining Siddhadeha with any of the possible methods, i.e. after attaining victory over death or after becoming Mrityunjay, attaining Pranavadeha is the ultimate salvation. Siddhadeha is of a Jivanmukta. Siddhadeha is not subjected to time, but there is a body above Siddhadeha too - that is the Pranavdeha. From this point of view, there is no question of Jivanmukta being destined for karma.

A man liberated from life (Jivanmukta) is free from karma, hence he is beyond karma. From the Aagam point of view, a Jivanmukta man is fully accomplished in his actions, hence he is the representative of God in all the actions. Prakrit Jivanmukta men do not have physical bodies. After the state of Jivanmukta, one with the Baindava Deha or Mahamaya - sambhutha Deha, the physical, Prakrit, Mayaik and Mahamayika Dehas subsequently continue to fade away while moving towards the Paramukti state. At that time it resides in Shakti body or Chinmaya body.

Different people have different beliefs about Yoga Vibhuti. Incidentally, let us put one or two things here -

without the awakening of self - knowledge, the real Yoga Vibhuti does not emerge. Adi Shankaracharya in his famous 'Dakshinamurthy Stotra' has described the universal feeling as Mahavibhuti. Sureshwaracharya has clearly written in his Vartika that just as a man's shadow follows him when he runs, similarly when the soul or the form of God is available, God naturally appears.

There is no separate existence of matter from the soul or spirit. In the state of celibacy, purification and stability of the Bindu or semen is achieved - which is the essence of the living body. When it is accomplished, that is, when the body becomes pure through the power of spiritual practice, when purification of the soul and purification of the mind are achieved, all the siddhis become available automatically, one does not have to make efforts for it. Yoga of atma, shakti and paramatma happens and the mahavibhuti emerges.
