Adhikara vs Anadikara

पाञ्चरात्रं भागवतं तन्त्रं वैखानसाभिधम् |

वेदभ्रष्टान् समुद्दृश्य कमलापति उक्तवान् ||

pāñcarātraṁ bhāgavataṁ tantraṁ vaikhānasābhidham |

vedabhraṣṭān samuddṛśya kamalāpati uktavān ||

This is a prominent and insightful quote by one of the great Shakta vidwans of our age, Shri Bhaskararaya Makhin. When such quote is coming from the ardent and hardcore shakta then it becomes even more influential.

He's basically saying that Vishnu created the Pancharatras, Shri mad Bhagwat, Tantras (Agama-Nigamas) and the Vaikhanasa sutras for all the Veda bhrashtas to accomplish the goals in their lives.

Now a days there are communities which uphold these shastras over shrutis themselves and beat their chests. Even the worse is that, the accreditation for being the founder of tantra stream itself has been changed and given to someone else. People have literally messed up all the non vedic systems with unnecessary shrauta or vedic drama. Because of which they're neither left vedic nor non vedic and hence are getting not any results from the sadhanas or prayogas.

Bramhanas who were supposed to practice only Veda samhitas, upanishads, bramhan, aranyakas and bramha vidyas from them and worship the 33 vedic gods have unfortunately left their nitya nihita karmas and are practicing tantras which were meant for non bramhanas and avaidikas for their worldly accomplishments.

On the other hand all the avaidikas, non bramhanas, mlecchas, yavanas, females etc.. who were supposed to follow tantras and puranas are coming forth in vedic preaching, studies, literature and practices.

Spiritual world runs on a definite adhikara or hierarchy. That hierarchy is maintained by the gods. One only gets adhikara for higher gains through his karma. Therefore people cannot radically tress pass the system and become bramhanas overnight because some non sensible person tells them that everybody is bramhan, bramhan resides in every being, anybody who studies vedas is a bramhan etc...

For vedadhikara, birth in a pure Bramhanical lineage, upanayana, vedadhyana and nitya nihita karma sampadan are the main parameters. If one fails to qualify on the first parameter then he is not eligible for other parameters at all. If one is born in a pure Bramhanical lineage (due to the past life punyas) then with the upanayan and prayaschittas (penance or redemption) one can attain or mantain the bramhanya.

For rest of the people the path of puranas and tantras are open. If people walk in their respective designated lanes, then there won't be any mishaps or accidents. Everyone will be happy. This is also the very point why sanatana Dharma has varnashram vyavastha, i.e.to protect everybody's right to live peacefully and earn.
