Translation:

Obeisance to the Earthly Lord, the Soma of celestial realms, the fiery essence of divine radiance.

You shine like a crimson glow, resembling a white-petaled flower. O King of Mushrooms, who touches the sky, I bow to you!

Your moon-like essence, the purest nectar, holds unparalleled brilliance. You illuminate the inner mind, the yogi’s supreme aid in meditation.

By merely partaking of you, the mind becomes vividly radiant. You are the divine elixir that unveils the celestial path.

You inspire dance and song, bestowing laughter and joy. You are the Soma that awakens deep memory and grants immortal bliss.

Your taste, like an enchanting mirage, is subtle yet profound. You uplift the spirit, guiding it toward the highest realms of consciousness.

Your form is hidden and wondrous, rare even to the gods. You dispel the heat of suffering, the very essence of life's elixir.

Suspended like a celestial orb, crimson in hue, you are the sacred offering for those who seek liberation.

You spark the inner radiance, the abode of pristine wisdom. Through you, ignorance dissolves, and Soma shines supreme.

By the libation of your nectar, the mind rejoices in divine fulfillment. O Red-Golden One, I bow to you, the bestower of ultimate knowledge!

Without Soma, the Seven Sages do not exist, nor do the gods, nor even Indra himself. There is no heaven, nor hell—nothing exists without Soma.

The Vedas, the scriptures, and the Puranas are not true at all. Without experiencing Soma, all of them are mere fables.

Among all medicines, Soma is the supreme king. It is the divine cure for all afflictions, the elixir of true life.

That ignorant fool who compares Soma with Sura (liquor) deserves to be cursed! Let him fall into the darkness of delusion forever.

Soma is the true divine intoxication, while Sura is a vile corruption. He who drinks Soma is pure; he who drinks Sura is far from wisdom.

Indra, the great god, shines only because of Soma! It is through this divine river of essence that he transcends all darkness.

Soma is Truth. Soma is Power. Soma is the supreme medicine. Soma is the beginning, Soma is the sustaining force, and Soma alone is the ultimate state.

He who drinks Soma and awakens divine wisdom alone knows his true self. Therefore, Soma is called the nectar of immortality.

Where Soma exists, there is no fear of death or mortality. The sage who partakes of Soma truly lives forever.

Soma is the highest abode, the source of all worlds. Without Soma, how can there be liberation? There is no other eternal path.

Jagannatha Bhattaraka, the noble son of the Bharadwaja lineage, composed this great hymn under the divine inspiration of Soma's essence.

While immersed in the bliss of Sumada, with Soma pervading my very being, the divine nectar flowed forth, and thus I wrote this hymn.

🙏 Soma rajaya namostute 🙏

🙏 Namo Narasimha 🙏
